Ingest ePIs and IPS

FOSPS uses HL7 FHIR to manage ePIs (electronic Product Information) and IPS (International Patient Summary), the future of interoperability. Connect to existing compendia, and health care systems with ease.

Post process ePIs

Add personality and personalization to ePIs. Whether is preparing them as your ePrescription/eDispensation application needs, or embedding annotations containing important information for users, FOSPS automatizes the process.

Unify ePrescription/eDispensation accross borders

Through both data and process standards, smart applications can take advantage of personalization and safety across jurisdictions. Have personalization rules that work independently of the applications.

Focusing Mechanism

This core feature enables the personalization of electronic Product Information (ePI) for end-users. It involves pre-processing ePIs, selecting appropriate lenses based on user context, and applying these lenses to tailor and improve the information presented.

Supporting Material Management

The Federated Open-Source Publishing System (FOSPS) enables the structured management of supplementary materials, including risk-minimisation measures, additional risk-minimisation measures, health education materials, and other educational resources, to provide a comprehensive and integrated view of medicines and related health information.

Cyber Trust Framework (CTF)

Supports content trustworthiness through robust provenance records, integrity verification mechanisms, and dedicated trust functions, ensuring the secure exchange of validated health and medication information.

Modular Architecture

FOSPS is designed with a three-layer architecture: Data, Service, and App Layer. This modularity allows for flexibility, scalability, and adaptation to various use cases.

Federated Architecture

Allows for the interconnection of multiple FOSPS instances, enabling collaboration and data exchange across different healthcare organizations or regions.

Authentication and Authorization

Employs Keycloak for secure access control, ensuring that users can only access authorized resources based on their roles and permissions.

Metrics Management

Utilizes the Grafana/Loki/Prometheus Stack to monitor and analyze the performance and health of FOSPS services. This allows administrators to track KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and ensure system stability.
